Congratulations to David Maggs and the 2UP for accomplishing an incredible overall 1st place for the 2012 State Downhill series in the Under 17’s category. For the final race of the series, David took 2nd Place by a mere 5 seconds. This 4.2km track is one of the longest downhill tracks in Australia. So if you can imagine 6 to 7 minutes of intense technical, steep descending riding with a variety of jumps, gaps, roots, burms, drop-offs and rocks, you can then believe the challenges expected by these riders and their bikes. We are very proud of David and the 2UP for their success and we can expect to see further impressive results at the 2013 National series early next year. Stay tuned for that.
