Yes the 2UP has done it again for the Cross Country Shimano 4hr Grand Prix, Rd 2 at Awaba, organised by Rocky Trail Entertainment.  Competing in the Junior mixed team category for Deubel Bicycles was Kellie Weinert and David Maggs.  If you’ve ever ridden the XC track at Awaba, you’ll appreciate that this track has some unforgiving uphills and pretty much keeps your heart rate going for the entire 12km.  Kellie and David were leading the race in their second loop when the chain broke on one of the 2UP’s, putting them into 3^rd place for the race.  This was a great achievement by both of them, especially when you consider that the very same bike they were riding competed in the National Downhill series and scored podium.  Huge congrats guys!  Special thanks to Peter Maggs, our Deubel Racing Mechanic, who kept our bikes in tip top shape during the race.
